  • CANCELLATION & REFUNDS

    Please make sure you are familiar with our company governance before placing your order. We want this to be a mutually beneficial agreement of the terms and conditions.

    1. Inclement Weather: We will work hard to get your greeting staked, but on occasion, there is hazardous weather (i.e. Lightning, hail, tornadoes, etc.) that prohibits us from fulfilling our duties, we will reschedule the greeting or refund your money.

    2. Payment: Payment is due at time of booking in order for it to be guaranteed on our website. We take credit cards, Apple Pay, Klarna, Afterpay, and PayPal. Payment is taken over secure encrypted transmission and no payment information is stored.

    3. Refund Policy: We do not refund payment if errors are made from the information given in the original order. We do not refund if the intended recipient wants the message removed.

    4. Cancellation: Sometimes cancellations need to be made. We reserve the right to refund 1/2 of the cost if the cancellation is made the day before the card installation date. We do offer the option of rescheduling at the same price if that is an option for you. Full payment is forfeited if canceled the day of the event date agreed upon between both parties.

    5. Rush Orders: Rush/same day orders will be accommodated as availability allows for inventory and labor availability – a rush fee may apply ($50).

    6. Delivery: All Yard Cards will be delivered the evening before your event date unless other arrangements are made. Typical delivery begins at 7pm in the evening but we are may deliver before 7pm on the day you have reserved. Time is dependent on number of Yard Cards scheduled for that date; time of setup will occur accordingly. Please leave on a light if we text you that we are coming for an evening setup. We assume it is a surprise and we will do our best to accommodate. It is suggested to arrange accordingly for our time of setup. Pick-up of Yard Card is typically at 7pm (or after) the day of the event unless other arrangements are made or payment for 2nd day has been secured.

    7. Prices: All Prices include delivery, set up and take down. We do offer the option for you to pick up the Yard Card and set up yourself if that would be more convenient for the surprise or you want to save a little money. We ask that the cards are delivered back by 7:30pm the date following the event unless other arrangements are made. If we do not get the cards returned on time there will be a $25 late fee. If we miss another scheduled opportunity, we reserve the right to charge for that additional day of business that was lost.

    8. Surprises: Since we know surprises are the name of the game, please notify the homeowner of the timing of the arrival and departure of the card so that they can make arrangements/be prepared.

    9. Property of Zap My Yard: All signs are rentals and remain the property of Zap My Yard. Any damage, destruction or missing pieces will be charged for replacement cost. Please be respectful of our property and do not tie anything on the signs.

    10. Right to Decline Orders: reserves the right to decline any orders that have lewd, political or controversial messaging. We are here to spread joy and smiles.

    11. Best Results: For best results, water the lawn well during the 24 hours before card placement if possible. Thank you.
